CST Storage Completes STMC Heartsaver Training

2/17/2012

The American Heart Association Training Team at Southern Tennessee Medical Center and Emerald-Hodgson Hospital is lead by Marsha Goodman, RN / STMC Emergency Department Director.  As training needs and requirements are identified through the STMC/EHH Occupational Health Program, Mrs. Goodman begins the task of coordinating the CPR / First Aide / AED class.  Many of the local employers participate in the classes due to TOSHA safety team / first responder’s regulations.

The most recent training took place for CST Storage and seven of their employees.  “Community involvement is of the utmost importance to our facility and our team,” states Marsha Goodman, Director of STMC Emergency Department. “We feel privileged anytime our employers look to us to assist with their needs whether in training classes or care of their employees injured on the job.”

If your company would like assistance with Heartsaver CPR, First Aide, AED training, please contact the STMC/EHH Occupational Health Program office at 931-967-8259.
