STMC / EHH Celebration Breakfast for Healthcare Heroes

On Friday, March 2, 2012, deadly storms rushed through southern and mid-western states.  Throughout that day, the employees at Southern Tennessee Medical Center and Emerald-Hodgson Hospital handled multiple Code Black warnings, causing them to take action to protect the safety of their patients and visitors.  As patients and visitors were moved to safe areas where they were not only protected, patient care continued to be delivered under very challenging circumstances.  People from every department of the hospitals pitched in to help as they always do and are rightfully called “Healthcare Heroes”.

On March 8th and March 9th, the employees of STMC and EHH were invited to an appreciation breakfast with all the trimmings and served by Administration for their continued dedication to caring for their patients.
